Einstein Law Salutes Mitchell Proner for Representing Costa Concordia Victims
Einstein Law wishes to recognize attorney Mitchell Proner, of the New York law firm of Proner & Proner, for the noble work he is doing on behalf of victims of the Costa Concordia cruise ship accident. Mr. Proner, in conjunction with the Italian consumer association Codacons and another US law firm, is filing a class-action lawsuit on behalf of the victims against Carnival Cruise Lines, Costa Cruise Lines, and other parties who share blame for the catastrophe.
The Costa Concordia ran aground off the shore of the Italian island of Giglio on January 13, 2012, killing at least 16 of the more than 4,200 passengers on board. Hundreds more were injured, and several passengers have yet to be accounted for.
In pursuing legal action against the cruise line companies, who have so far placed sole blame on the ship’s captain, Mr. Proner is helping to ensure that innocent victims and their families are properly compensated for the losses they have suffered as a result of this egregiously reckless accident.
Mitchell Proner has devoted his professional life to protecting the rights of those who have been injured by the negligence of others. Einstein Law salutes Mr. Proner for his tireless efforts while offering our deepest condolences to all of those affected by the Costa Concordia tragedy.
